Join Saluting Branches in Making a Difference: Volunteer for the 12th Annual Day of Service

Saluting Branches is organizing its 12th annual Day of Service on Sept. 16, engaging communities nationwide to volunteer in caring for veteran-dedicated properties through tree and landscape maintenance.

Saluting Branches honors American service members by organizing volunteer tree and landscape care for the property dedicated to veterans.

The association is preparing for its 12th annual Day of Service on Sept. 16. On that day, colleagues across communities will come together to give back and make a meaningful impact through service.

"Saluting Branches would not be possible without the dedication and support of so many individuals and organizations — we extend our sincere thanks to our volunteers, site leaders, logistics coordinators, community partners, donors and sponsors," the organization stated.

This year, 90 locations will be participating in the Day of Service. By registering for the event, you can help Saluting Branches to accurately plan for volunteer activities and ensure a safe, positive and well-organized experience.

Jeff Polvado, one of the volunteers highlighted in a recent enewsletter issue, has volunteered with Saluting Branches for nearly 10 years. He is both an arborist and an Army veteran.

"Being an Army veteran, Saluting Branches gives me a unique opportunity to give back to the veteran community using the skills and expertise I've developed throughout my career," he said.
