Arbor Day Foundation Announces Time for Trees Program Update

The program reached its goal of 5 million planters two years early.

In March of 2019, the Arbor Day Foundation publicly launched its Time for Trees initiative with the goals of planting 100 million trees and inspiring 5 million tree planters to help carry its mission forward by Arbor Day of 2022.

Since that time, the Arbor Day Foundation has seen tremendous interest in the incredible potential of trees and has reached its goal of inspiring 5 million tree planters two years early.

"Thank you to all of our partners who played an important role in making this happen," The Arbor Day Foundation stated on its Web site. "Planting continues toward the 100 million tree goal."
