Platinum Tools Launches New Shielded Connectors

Platinum Tools has launched the ezEX-RJ45 shielded connectors, which are designed for larger cables and conductors.

Platinum Tools has launched the ezEX-RJ45 shielded connectors, which are designed for larger cables and conductors. They feature an integrated H-Lo stagger load bar and allow big conductors to pass through the front end of the connector. As such, they make it easy to verify the wire sequence before terminating, says Lee Sachs, president and general manager of Platinum Tools.

The connectors, which will be exhibited at the CEDIA Expo 2018 Sept. 6-8 in San Diego, also offer the following features:

ezEX 44 Shielded CAT6 Connector, Internal Ground:

Hi-Lo stagger to isolate each conductor
Simple one piece/pass through design, no bars or liners
Shielded 5e/6/6A compliant
Insulation Diameter (Conductor) - Size range: 0.039in. – 0.044in. (1.0 –1.12mm)
Max Outer Diameter: 0.2805in. (7.1mm)
Solid or Stranded 24-22 AWG
TAA, TIA, RoHS, UL & FCC compliant
