Wisconsin Wind Storm Brings Down Trees and Poles

High winds toppled trees, caused damage and knocked out power to We Energies' service territory.

An intense wind storm whipped across Wisconsin on Wednesday, Dec. 15 in We Energies' service territory. Linemen restored power to more than 150,000 customers as of Dec. 17. 

Crews also cleaned up downed trees and wires, replaced broken poles and fixed equipment according to the company's Web site. The crews worked around the clock to repair damage to infrastructure.

We Energies also brought in extra crews from across the Midwest to join the more than 200 workers fixing damage in the field.
