ArborFest EXPO Offers Hands-On Training and Education

The event, from April 17-19, 2020, in Asheville, North Carolina, will present indoor seminars and outdoor demos for arborists.

ArborFest EXPO gives arborists the opportunity to interact with one another while seeing the latest gear from industry manufacturers.

Attendees will be able to listen to indoor seminars and observe outdoor demos and test and try on gear in a full-size retail booth. In addition, attendees can register for a two-day, hands-on climbing course as well as CPR and First Aid classes. 

For example, the event features the MRS and SRS Hands-On Training course. Participants can refine their tree climbing skills in Moving and Stationary Rope Systems with training from North American Training Solutions. ​This course meets the ANSI/ASSE Z490.1 Criteria for Accepted Practices in Safety, Health, and Environmental Training as well as ANSI Z133, Z359, and CSA Z259.

In addition, attendees can reserve their spot for the Master Class on Crane Essentials for Production Tree Work. They can practice their tree climbing skills in Moving and Stationary Rope Systems. This course meets the ANSI/ASSE Z490.1 Criteria for Accepted Practices in Safety, Health, and Environmental Training as well as ANSI Z133, Z359, and CSA Z259.
