Direct Energy Marketing Ltd. has chosen Peace Software's (Miami, Florida, U.S.) Energy suite to manage its 1.5 million customers in 10 electricity and gas markets in North America. Direct Energy plans to grow to more than 10 million customers on the continent by the end of 2003. The company also has 20 million customers in the United Kingdom.
Direct Energy selected Peace Software for its depth of technology and experience in advanced customer management for the retail energy industry. Peace Software and its strategic integrator are deploying the complete Energy suite, including customer management components for enrollment, customer care, billing, and commercial and industrial (C&I); commodity management component for electricity supply; and Internet components for B-2-C Web-based customer services and B-2-B for market participant interaction.
