System Provides Transformer Protection

Beckwith Electric’s Transformer Protection System M-3311A provides protection, control, monitoring and user interface functions for two, three or four-restraint winding applications. The base unit includes restrained and unrestrained differential protection, overcurrent protection with harmonic voltage options, multiple set point groups, user-programmable logic schemes, thru fault monitoring, and a 512 record event log.

The M-3311A can be supplied with dual power supplies, enhancing overall reliability by allowing the relay to be supplied from a single source with redundant cabling and fusing, or from two different sources, either both DC or one DC and one AC source.
