OMICRON to Host Virtual Event on Emerging Tech in Protection, Automation, Control

OMICRON's 5th Annual Canada Protection Symposium to be held from Dec. 2 to Dec. 3, 2020.

OMICRON is hosting its 5th Annual Canada Protection Symposium (CPS) — Special Virtual Event starting at 10 a.m. Eastern Time (ET), Dec. 2 to Dec. 3, 2020. The event will feature discussions on emerging and new technologies in the electric power industry on protection, automation, and control. The event cost is CAD$150 (US$114.8) plus tax.

The company is offering two optional half-day tutorials on Dec. 1, 2020. One may choose to attend the Networking Basics for IEC 61850 and Digital Substation Applications Tutorial or the Field Testing a Distribution Automation Scheme Using RelaySimTest Tutorial, or both. Each tutorial costs CAD$50 (US$38.2) plus tax.
