Fault Locator Tests Loop-Feed Systems
CFL Technology's System 15/25P is a state-of-the art portable Fault Locating System for power cables. It combines a thumper/filter (coupler) built in a sturdy, waterproof NEMA 12 enclosure.
The system is designed for fault locating on loop-feed systems, where portability and flexibility is required; 800/1125 joules (W/s) of energy at 15kV(12.5/25kV), makes the job easy, even on longer cable sections
The radar is removable and can be used stand-alone on secondary / street light applications. Four modes of operations are built-in:
- Radar mode
- Direct thump mode
- DC testing (Hipot)
- Burn mode
