Deadline Extended for T&D World Live Session Proposals
The call for speakers for T&D World Live 2026 has been extended through Thursday, February 27, and we want to see even more utility professionals step forward to share their expertise. This industry-defining event, taking place September 1-3, 2026, in Orlando, Florida, is built by utilities, for utilities, and your real-world experiences are what make it truly valuable.
T&D World Live brings together transmission and distribution leaders from across the country to tackle the most pressing challenges facing the grid today. To help shape a program that serves the entire utility community, we’ve reorganized content into three core tracks that reflect how utilities operate, innovate, and lead and we’re looking for speakers who can bring cutting-edge insights, practical case studies, and forward-looking strategies to these audiences.
New Tracks to Inspire Your Submission
- Grid Operations, Reliability & Resilience
Speakers in this track will explore strategies for strengthening grid performance, preparing for extreme weather and black sky events, modernizing system operations, and bolstering cybersecurity and protection schemes. Sessions that highlight measurable results, lessons learned from implementation, and replicable tactics are ideal.
- Digital Transformation & Future Technology
This track focuses on how utilities are leveraging analytics, artificial intelligence, digital twins, automation, and predictive maintenance to drive smarter decision-making and operational efficiency. Startups or pilot projects that are turning into scalable solutions, or mature deployments shaping enterprise strategy, will resonate here.
- Strategy, Policy, People & the Customer
Sessions in this area connect the dots between organizational strategy, workforce development and training, regulatory and policy challenges, supply chain resilience, and customer engagement and equity. Story-driven talks that highlight partnership models, change management successes, and workforce transformation are especially welcome.
Ideas to Spark Your Proposal
Wondering what to submit? Consider talks on utility-driven outcomes such as:
- Lessons from storm response and restoration planning
- Digital initiatives that improved reliability or reduced O&M costs
- Utility approaches to workforce recruitment, retention, and training
- EV infrastructure integration and grid impact studies
- Regulatory and policy adaptations that accelerated project delivery
These topics and more will help peers advance their work and drive tangible results back at the utility.
Why Your Voice Matters
T&D World Live isn’t a typical conference. It’s a collaborative forum designed to share real use cases and practical insights that utility professionals can apply immediately. Your participation not only elevates your organization’s thought leadership but also enriches an agenda built for action — focused on execution, resilience, and the future of the electric grid.
Get Involved
The deadline to submit your speaking proposal is now Friday, February 27. If you’ve considered presenting but haven’t yet taken the step, this is your moment to share what you’ve learned, the challenges you’ve overcome, and the innovations that are shaping your utility’s future.
