Hon’ble Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Power, Sh. Jyotiraditya M. Scindia dedicated POWERGRID’s 765-kV Agra-Meerut Transmission Line to the Nation at Agra substation on July 20. The Hon’ble MOSP also laid the foundation-stone of + 800 kV, 6000 MW NER – Agra High Capacity Interconnector on the same occasion. Shri Akhilesh Yadav, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh was the Chief Guest.

At a separate function held at Gwalior Substation in the later half of the day the Hon’ble MOSP also dedicated 765-kV Gwalior - Agra Line to the Nation. CMD, senior officials of POWERGRID, Ministry of Power and State Govt. officials were present on these occasions.
