California utilities are aggressively preparing for an expected electric vehicle (EV) boom. We have heard this before, but now the utilities and regulators are putting their money where their hopes reside. Other states with major metropolitan areas suffering from congestion and continued air quality problems surely hope to learn from California’s efforts.
