Linemen work long nights away from their families to kep the power on for their company's customers. To thank them for all their hard work, T&D World, Utility Products and the International LIneman's Rodeo Association (ILRA) presented the 2020 Lineman Celebration Week. Here are some of the highlights and ways you can still get involved.

Medal Monday: Watch videos from the category winners and champion in our Top Tools of the Trade video, which was released on Facebook. Congratulations to the the top winner, Buckingham Manufacturing. Tools & T-Shirt Tuesday: In our "Give a Shirt, Get a Shirt" promotion, linemen from across North America submitted T-shirt designs to reserve their free, limited-edition, black, long-sleeved shirts for Lineman Celebration Week. We still have a limited quantity available. To get your shirt, email Field Editor Amy Fischbach with a photo of yourself or a past Rodeo T-shirt design, your job title and company name and shipping address. You can also upload your information to our online form.

Weducation Wednesday: View a video Q&A featuring Field Editor Amy Fischbach, Maximo Fuentes and questions from utility line students at Metropolitan Community College Kansas City. Max also is offering linemen the opportunity to download a free copy of his book on leadership for frontline supervisors until the end of October 2020.
Team Thursday: On Team Thursday, we asked our journeyman lineman teams to submit their journeyman team photos for the chance to win one of three Milwaukee prize packages. Here is a video recap highlighting the photos from the day. We also shared team galleries and photos of team trailers at the International LIneman's Rodeo on the ILRA Facebook page.
Food & Fun Friday: Share your favorite recipes by Oct. 20 for a chance to win one of 10 $150 gift cards to Cabela's from IFD Corp. and have your recipe featured in a special eBook sponsored by Quanta Services. Super Saturday: The ILRA created two 10-question quizzes for the line trade, and by participating, the linemen can win prizes. To take the quizzes, click here. Maximo Fuentes also provided a video titled, "How to Win a Lineman's Rodeo," and we posted photos from the ILRA Rodeo banquets and our families at the Rodeo.
