2020 In-Person Trees & Utilities Conference in Milwaukee Canceled

July 12, 2020
Due to the impact of COVID-19 on the industry, the Arbor Day Foundation and the Utility Arborist Association are considering virtual options.

The 2020 Trees & Utilities Conference, a partnership of the Utility Arborist Association and the Arbor Day Foundation, will not take place this September in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as planned.

"Thank you to our incredible Trees & Utilities Conference community for your patience as we navigate the effects of COVID-19 and its impact on our ability to safely convene in Milwaukee for our annual conference this September," stated the organizers. "For the safety of our attendees, we know that not holding the conference in person is the right thing to do, but that doesn’t make it any less disappointing. Thank you to all the staff, partners, sponsors, exhibitors, and attendees that have supported the 2020 conference. Your commitment, passion and support mean so much to us. We are still evaluating the best path forward and whether to hold a virtual experience."

As the organizers evaluate the next steps, visit the event Web site for more updates and announcements. Also, please mark your calendars for the 2021 conference Aug. 31-Sept. 2, 2021, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
