Relay and Substation Test System

This new three -phase test instrument addresses the increasing need for three-phase testing capability in electrical distribution substations, renewable power generation stations and industrial applications.

Existing users of previous SVERKER relay testers will recognize themselves in the intuitive user interface, the powerful combination of current and voltage sources as well as the endless measurement capabilities.

The instrument has the beneficial combination of high-compliance voltage and high current to test all electromechanical, solid-state and numerical relays, including directional, frequency and synchronizing functions.

With three current generators and four voltage generators, SVERKER 900 provides a complete three-phase test system for commissioning of three phase protection systems. The generators provide high power in both the voltage and current sources to test virtually all types of protection relays.

Various primary switchgear testing can also be performed, since all voltage and current sources have floating ungrounded neutral which allows all sources to be used either separately, in parallel or in series. This feature becomes useful when higher amplitudes, higher compliance voltage or higher VA ratings are necessary.

SVERKER 900 is easily operated via the built-in, intuitive 5.7" LCD touch screen on the panel, no PC needed in the field. A USB port on the front panel provides for transferring test files and results between the instrument and a PC or between multiple SVERKER 900 units. Performed relay tests can be saved and used as "test plans" for repeated test or as template for similar tests. This feature will greatly facilitate and speed up testing in the field.
