Weidmann Electrical Technology, Inc. and INCON (Intelligent Controls) have announced a new method of on-line oil analysis for oil filled electrical equipment.
The Centurion Dielectric Strength Monitor provides an accurate on-line measurement of oil quality. The unit uses a non-destructive method to determine the level of carbon and metallic particulates, fiber, moisture and other impurities.
It can serve as an inexpensive annunciator on transformers, LTCs, breakers or other devices. Correlation with lab samples can be made based on the readings obtained
