Class on Distribution Overcurrent Protection and Coordination

S&C’s Carey Cook and Hemanth Jala will be presenting a two-day course offered by EUCI, titled “Distribution Overcurrent Protection and Coordination,” from Oct. 29-30 2013 in Chicago. This class will review the principals of selective coordination, application and coordination of overcurrent protective devices, such as circuit breakers and relays, reclosers, sectionalizers, and fuses as used by electric utilities. Cook and Jala will also cover how these protective devices are selectively coordinated with each other and how they are selected to protect distribution system components while improving power quality.

You can find additional detail on this course, including online registration, on EUCI’s website.
