ABB's latest eco-efficient high-voltage GIS technology offers users the potential to lower environmental impact and simplify operations. The GIS uses a new eco-efficient gas mixture as the insulating and arc-quenching medium as an alternative to sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) and has the potential to lower carbon dioxide (CO2) equivalent emissions by up to 50 percent over the product lifecycle.
