Kelman's TAPTRANS unit offers accurate and reliable DGA for both the transformer and the tap changer in one compact unit.
The TAPTRANS is based on the same technology as the TRANSFIX. TAPTRANS can monitor up to three separate compartments:
- The main tank
- The selector compartment
- The diverter compartment
TAPTRANS allows the user to detect transformer and LTC fault activity at the earliest possible stage, avoiding unplanned and costly outages. Features include:
- Main tank and LTC monitored accurately.
- No cross contamination.
- 8-gas DGA and moisture.
