Indiana Michigan Power Co. plans to invest approximately $40 million in electrical improvements in downtown Fort Wayne.

Indiana Michigan Power Company (I&M) plans to invest approximately $40 million in electrical improvements in downtown Fort Wayne. I&M will rebuild the Webster station, as well as improve the transmission and distribution lines that service the area. The plans include replacing a substation built in the 1920s with a modern station to strengthen the reliability for homes and businesses, as well as accommodate future area growth.
