During this event, You will hear from Craig Hackett, Network Manager, The Lines Company. Craig's presentation will outline The Lines Company’s key drivers for investing in a LiDAR survey for vegetation management and the arguments presented to support that decision.
It will also discuss the conscious compromises made at the time to balance the huge potential of spatial analytics (the many applications of the data) with the relative business maturity at the time (constrained ability to extract that value).
Finally, it will discuss how the LiDAR project became a trigger point for a broader business digitization and resource capability change program.
