Zip Energy Selects Prepay Billing and Customer Communications Platform

Zip Energy has chosen the SmartGridCIS Express solution to support its AMS prepay business in Texas. The Zip Energy brand is owned by a major REP in Texas with a track record of success. It will soon be launching an aggressive campaign to promote smart meter pre-paid services to credit challenged customers.

Initial plans are for Texas only, but other deregulated markets may soon follow.
