Conolog Announces Design Extension of the CM-100 Platform to Provide Ethernet Transmission Applications

Conolog Corp. has added Ethernet Transmission capability to its CM-100 multiplexer with IEC 61850 protocol.

The CM-100 platform, used for direct communication between substations, is being expanded to include Ethernet transmission for Smart Grid applications using the IEC 61850 protocol.

Marc Benou, president of Conolog, said “We plan line testing for the third quarter with production scheduled for the first quarter 2011."
