Intergraph Corporation has announced InService version 8. Core enhancements of this release include support for a Citrix environment, Outlook-based calendar scheduling and viewing, a switching simulator, and improvements to schematics generation. The InService mobile environment incorporates Intergraph’s oneMobile functionality, delivering integration of query and redlining capabilities and stronger customization tools. OneMobile enables a common mobile platform for not only emergency response, but all field applications.
With InService 8, Intergraph has introduced enhanced capabilities for critical infrastructure protection through modules providing integrated, two way communications with video, sensor, and alarm surveillance. Additionally, InService is now certified for Oracle on 64-bit Windows and Red Hat Linux.
“Intergraph’s technologies, such as InService, provide utility organizations across the world with integrated geospatial information systems to manage assets and resources,” said Jay Stinson, vice president and general manager Intergraph Utilities and Communications.
