NRECA Selects Ruggedcom for Smart Grid Demonstration Project

RuggedCom Inc. has been selected as a key partner of the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA), participating in the organization’s regional Smart Grid Demonstration Project (SGDP).

The project aims to demonstrate the reliability, efficiency and cost benefits of a smarter grid to cooperative members. Participating cooperatives will deploy more than 250,000 pieces of equipment across 12 states, including communication infrastructure and SCADA.
