Survalent Technology has commissioned a new Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system for New Braunfels Utilities.
New Braunfels Utilities (NBU), located in South Central Texas, serves approximately 28,000 customers and maintains over 770 miles of overhead and underground distribution line.
The new system features Survalent's dual-redundant, open-architecture system based on Windows Server 2008. The system includes several of Survalent's open system applications, including: MultiSpeak 3.0, Event Data Recorder, Master/Slave Alarm Suppression, IED Wizard, Control Panel, Remote Alarm Annunciation, Command Sequencing, Disturbance Data Capture, Operator Training Simulator, ICCP, WebSurv, SCADA Replicator, and SCADA Add-in for MS Excel and Access.
