Cooper Power Systems’ Modular Integrated Transportable Substations (MITS) can reduce on-site field installation by as much as 40 %. They are a complete electrical power distribution center assembled, wired, and tested at the factory and can be installed with one crane lift in just hours, not days. Also, they can be automated by installing condition assessment sensors in major equipment and integrating on-board relays and controls with the utility grid. Standard assemblies use EnviroTemp® FR3® dielectric fluid, making them environmentally friendly and suitable for placement next to waterways and other sensitive areas.
