The North American Electric Reliability Corp.will host a Reliability Standards and Compliance Workshop on Oct. 14-15 in Atlanta, Georgia. The workshop will focus on reliability standards development and compliance program activities.

Highlights include:

  • Direct access to NERC’s standards and compliance programs’ executive leadership;
  • Stakeholder panels on standards and compliance program experiences, lessons learned, and recommended improvements;
  • Insights from another successful self-regulatory organization
  • Updates on standards and compliance programs, processes, and activities

All who are interested and affected by the development of and compliance to NERC Reliability Standards, including:

  • Reliability coordinators
  • Transmission planners, owners, & operators
  • Balancing & planning authorities
  • Resource planners
  • Transmission service providers
  • Generator owners & operators
  • Distribution providers
  • Load-serving & purchasing-selling entities
The $175 registration fee covers the full two days, continental breakfasts, and lunch the first day. Pre-registration ends on Oct. 6, 2008. Seats are limited for each session.
