Ameren Transmission and Wabash Valley Power Alliance (WVPA) have partnered to develop the Limestone Ridge Project in southeast Missouri, which includes an approximately 15 mile, 138-kV transmission line and two state-of-the-art substations.

More than half of the new transmission line will be co-located along existing Wabash Valley Power Alliance right-of-way.

The collaboration will improve reliability, provide additional energy capacity for local manufacturing facilities and allow for future expansion of the energy grid.

While crews completed the project in December 2023, land restoration efforts will remain until spring 2024.
