Sacramento Municipal Utilities District (SMUD) Chief Operating Officer Frankie McDermott, who will be delivering a keynote address at T&D World Conference and Exhibition, has won a C-Suite Award from the Sacramento Business Journal.
The Sacramento Business Journal's C-Suite Awards recognize executives who have made their mark on their organization and in the larger business community. Formerly known as CFO of the Year, the honor has been expanded to recognize all members of the C-suite.
Frankie has a nearly 18-year history with SMUD, which is one of the ten largest publicly owned utilities in the U.S. He previously served as the company’s chief energy delivery officer, its chief customer officer, its senior director of customer services as well as other key roles.
