Tool Eases Change-Out of Cutout Fuse Barrels

The Fuse Claw from Hastings Fiber Glass Products, Inc., with its innovative design for installing, removing, and changing-out cutout fuse barrels, eases the work for linemen, line servicemen, trouble-workers, and emergency crews. The cradle design helps to stabilize fuse-barrel during lifting, and the cradle is reversible so the hook can be adapted for right handed or left handed operation. Spring-loaded tabs hold the fuse-barrel in place and minimize movement. The tool uses standard universal fittings for Tel-o-Poles and universal sticks.
