GE’s Digital Energy business has selected TESSCO Technologies as an authorized channel partner and distributor.
As an authorized GE partner, TESSCO will be part of a global team that is dedicated to offering communications solutions to increase the reliability of electrical power networks and critical equipment for utility, industrial, energy and large, commercial customers.
Products now available through TESSCO include GE’s new MDS Orbit Platform of industrial wireless routers, next-generation wireless communication solutions that integrate cellular, private, licensed and unlicensed networks in one common format. TESSCO also offers a fully integrated Deployment Kit for GE’s MDS Orbit Platform. The Deployment Kit is manufactured by Ventev, a division of TESSCO, and provides all of the components needed to deploy, power and protect GE’s technology. These solutions give infrastructure operators the data connectivity they need to monitor and efficiently manage remote assets in the field.

The MDS Orbit Platform allows utilities, oil and gas companies and the transportation and mining industries to easily and cost-effectively expand their communication infrastructures using a range of technologies.
