Spain: Iberdrola Sells Power to Morocco

Grupo Iberdrola said it would supply more than 200 million kWh of electricity to Morocco in April, May and June 2001. Iberdrola exported 400 million kWh to Morocco in 2000 and 50 million kWh this year to date. The maximum power supply via the electricity connection between Spain and Morocco is 260 MW. Grupo Iberdrola is the parent company of Spanish electricity supplier Iberdrola SA.
