Boy did I get an ear full about Wind, speed, and utilities. One Renewable IPP member had a comment on the last blog. He said the utilities he is working with have a year long waiting list just to start the system studies. The studies will take over a year! Do you call that fast - he is up set. What about it Utilities? What is your side of the issue? Send me your comments.

He has held the position of the Chairman of the HVDC & FACTS Subcommittee and membership in many T&D working groups. Gene is also active in renewable energy. He sponsored the formation of the “Integration of Renewable Energy into the Transmission & Distribution Grids” subcommittee and the “Intelligent Grid Transmission and Distribution” subcommittee within the Transmission and Distribution committee.
