Supriya Chinthavali is the group leader for the Built Environment Characterization group in ORNL’s Geospatial Sciences and Human Security Division with over 15 years of experience in data analytics and visualization specifically for understanding and protecting critical infrastructures. She has been leading multiple the US Department of Energy programs and projects related to the energy sector’s situational awareness (EAGLE-I and NAERM), policy analysis, smart grid, and Outage Data Initiative Nationwide (ODIN) as a co-lead and a principal investigator. She has a master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering and in Automotive Embedded Systems. Previously, she worked for Delphi Automotive systems as an advanced software engineer for four years.
