F. H. Rick Smith, is a recently retired I.T. infrastructure architect, having worked for many years across the disciplines of automation, telecom, and I.T. for Chevron, Texaco, and Getty Oil, including the engineering of comms . He specializes in power related telemetry systems and helping support real oil field power system incidents as part of the team dealing with utility separations, and occasionally, black starting. In retirement, Mr, Smith continues to serve as the CA director for the EMP Taskforce on National and Homeland Security, and serve on the Enterprise Wireless Alliance Board of Directors.
