SEBASTOPOL, Calif. – CN Utility Consulting, Inc., a leader in utility vegetation management consulting, welcomed Derek L. Vannice as Vice President of Operations on January 1.

Vannice comes to CN Utility Consulting with more than 25 years of industry experience. After working as a right of way maintenance supervisor and serving as president of the Indiana Arborist Association, Vannice joined the Utility Arborist Association as executive director and was, concurrently, director of certification for the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). With a bachelor's degree in forestry and a master's degree in business administration, Vannice has also done independent consulting work with utilities and line clearance companies across North America.

In his new position, Vannice oversees CN Utility Consulting's nationwide field operations and supports the company's many consulting endeavors.
