August 7, 2012 -- The Great Lakes Symposium on Smart Grid and the New Energy Economy will take place from Monday, Sept. 24 to Wednesday, Sept. 26 at the Illinois Institute of Technology Campus, Chicago, Ill. Smart grid and microgrid developers, investors, utilities, technology providers, consumer advocates and policymakers are encouraged to attend.

The event is hosted and technically co-sponsored by the Robert W. Galvin Center for Electricity Innovation at the Illinois Institute of Technology and it also technically co-sponsored by the IEEE. Early Bird Registration is open now through August 15, 2012. Register at www.greatlakessymposium.org
