June 12, 2012, Bolingbrook, Illinois -- G&W Electric Company, a leading supplier of power automation systems, switchgear and cable accessories, recently completed a ribbon cutting ceremony dedicating their new global headquarters and manufacturing facility in Bolingbrook, IL.

“This facility marks the start of a new era for G&W, providing the room we need for our continued growth and a safe and comfortable working environment for our 400-plus Illinois-based employees,” explained John H. Mueller, Chairman.

A long time native to the Chicago area, the family-owned, 107-year-old company moved from Blue Island, Illinois, where it resided for more than 50 years.

“The new facility is more than double the size of our previous Blue Island manufacturing operation and gives us the room we need to support our growing customer base, continue our R&D efforts, improve order lead times and maximize product quality,” says Mueller.

Their new address is:

G&W Electric Company

305 West Crossroads Parkway

Bolingbrook, IL 60440

Phone: 708-388-5010

Web: www.gwelec.com

The company has kept the phone numbers the same for its customers' convenience.
