Integral dx Releases All-Terrain Derrick Into Black Hills

Sept. 25, 2020
The Drilly Goat is able to climb steep grades, has a compact size for trailering, and the 4-wheel steering provides quick and precise response.

Integral dx this month sent into the Black Hills its All-Terrain Derrick, the Drilly Goat, which enables utility companies nationwide to upgrade their fleets to accommodate rough and remote terrain.

The Drilly Goat is able to climb steep grades, has a compact size for trailering, and the 4-wheel steering provides quick and precise response. Once the team was in place, the outriggers combined with the multipurpose steel blade gave them the stability to install new utility poles on remote steep hills without concern.

The All-Terrain Derrick is outfitted with multiple utility components to eliminate the need for multiple machines in remote job sites. The boom attachments include an auger, personnel bucket, pole guides and winch. The field team utilized the toolboxes located next to the rear controls to pack the necessary tools and supplies, eliminating multiple trips. The team was able to set-up using one machine that gave them the ability to complete the job from drilling to installation.

Integral dx is a Minnesota-based company headquartered in Montevideo, with products serving five diverse industries.
