Attendees will have a chance to evaluate emerging technologies and help select the most innovative solution at T&D World Live 2026 during the Innovation Shares general session.

The session, scheduled for 3:45 to 5 p.m. Sept. 1, will bring together five solution providers to showcase technologies that are addressing challenges facing electric utilities, including grid reliability and resilience, digital transformation and workforce efficiency.

Rather than traditional product presentations, the session will focus on innovations and the utility challenges they are designed to address. Presentations will give attendees a look at emerging approaches that could affect how utilities operate and modernize their transmission and distribution systems.

• Codie Boggs of Exodigo
• Georg Rute of Gridraven
• Miguel Cordeiro of Spotlite | Infrastructure Remote Monitoring
• Joseph Hunter of TS Conductor Corporation.

A new element of this year's session will put attendees in the role of judges. Following the presentations, the audience will vote to determine the Most Innovative Solution at T&D World Live 2026.

The format is designed to give utility professionals an opportunity to see a range of emerging technologies in a single session and consider how new approaches could address challenges within their own organizations.

Innovation Shares will be part of T&D World Live 2026, which runs Sept. 1-3 in Orlando, Florida.
