For four decades, linemen have exchanged ideas, addressed issues, and solved problems through the Transmission and Distribution Maintenance and Management Association (TDMMA).

Rather than reinventing the wheel, the crew leaders have shared best practices, experiences with tools and technology, and tips to boost productivity and protect their field workforce.

For the 40th annual conference, more than 130 linemen, managers, and supervisors traveled to the heart of the city of Vancouver, Canada. Over the course of three days, the crew leaders networked, listened to panel discussions, and actively participated in open forums. They also participated in a technical tour of the Staeve Falls/Ruskin Generating Station and Powertech Labs.
