Safety One Training Internationational is offering fall protection training into September. Here is a description of the classes and the dates and locations.
Authorized Fall Protection Training
Safety One's Authorized (Standard) Fall Protection Training is intended for individuals who are responsible for performing work at height. Upon successful completion of this course, students will receive certification from Safety One and will be able to:
- Identify and mitigate fall hazards in the workspace
- Apply proper techniques for tower climbing
- Implement and manage rescue equipment
- Effectively perform a rescue
Authorized Class Dates & Locations
Competent Fall Protection Training
Safety One's Competent (Advanced) Fall Protection and Advanced Rescue Training* is provides students with the skills to successfully rescue an incapacitated worker from unique or challenging areas or structures. Upon successful completion of this course, students will receive certification from Safety One and will be able to:
- Perform ground and tower-based rescues
- Inspect and install raising and hauling systems for rescue applications
*Prerequisites - Authorized Fall Protection and Rescue Certification and minimum 90 days experience
Competent Class Dates & Locations
Fall Protection Train the Trainer
Safety One's Fall Protection Train the Trainer course provides students with the knowledge, skills, and support required to be an effective in-house trainer for their organization. Upon successful completion of this course, students will receive certification from Safety One and will be able to:
- Teach their employees to properly inspect and use fall protection equipment
- Communicate fall protection techniques, regulations, and standards
- Set up various types of safety systems for training and practicing rescues
- Deliver either Authorized or Competent level training
Prerequisites - Authorized and Competent Fall Protection and Rescue Certifications.
