Photo Contest Puts Linemen in the Spotlight

Linemen work around the clock in challenging conditions to keep the power on. To showcase their hard work and commitment to the trade, T&D World invited linemen to enter their photos in the first annual Lineman Life photography contest.

Eric Bowden, a lineman for Local 104 in New Hampshire, won the contest with a photo called, "Powering Puerto Rico."  As the winner, he won a Tail Tamer from Utility Solutions and had his photo published in the Parting Shot department of the magazine. Here are the top 12 photos for this year's competition.
