National Lineman Appreciation Day: A Tribute to the Line Trade

April 16, 2021
T&D World is celebrating hard-working linemen for keeping the power on for their communities.

Linemen often work long hours out of the spotlight, but on April 18, 2021, their companies and communities will be celebrating them for their hard work and dedication.

Not only on Lineman Appreciation Day, but year-round, T&D World honors linemen in the field-focused Electric Utility Operations section, Lineman Life enewsletter and LinemenWorld on Instagram. This September, we will also be publishing the 2021 Lineman Supplement, and a month later, we look forward to welcoming linemen and their families to Kansas City for the 2021 International Lineman's Rodeo.

To put linemen, who are front-line first responders and essential workers, into the spotlight, we are featuring a photo gallery of some the linemen who have been profiled in our Lifeline (Spotlight on the Line Trade) department.

For participating in Lifeline, each lineman receives a prize tool package from the sponsor, Milwaukee Tool, along with their well-deserved opportunity to be in the spotlight in both T&D World, and our sister magazine, Utility Products. If you know of a journeyman lineman or field manager we should profile in a future Lifeline department, email Field Editor Amy Fischbach
