Entergy Sends 650 Workers to Florida to Help With Restoration

Entergy is providing mutual assistance to Florida Power & Light by sending crews from three different states to help with the restoration.

When disaster strikes, utilities often lend a helping hand. Case in point: more than 650 Entergy and contract personnel from Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arkansas traveled to Florida to provide mutual assistance to Florida Power & Light (FPL). 

As Entergy crews leave from both New Orleans and Slidell, Louisiana, Sunday morning to help FPL, Ryan Price, an operations coordinator with Entergy New Orleans, talks about the restoration in the video below.
