“Cowabunga” is an exclamation used mostly by select baby boomers and surfers. It may also become the source of a DER conspiracy theory:  Why is it that this graph of historical utilization of the term “cowabunga” resembles charts of the historic utilization of demand response programs to reduce summer peaks? Coincidence?
