Lafayette, CA, Sept. 2, 2008 — Utility Integration Solutions, Inc (UISOL) announced today that its fifth annual Utility Integration Conference (UIC2008) will be presented Sept. 16-17, 2008 at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort in Phoenix, Ariz. As with the last four conferences, UIC2008 is presented in partnership with EUCI, an organizer of conferences that serve utilities and other businesses in the international power industry.
UIC2008 will focus on the theme of Integrating the Smart Grid, with speakers from leading utilities and independent system operators (ISOs) discussing the role of integration in their business improvement solutions. A pre-conference training workshop, led by UISOL CEO Ali Vojdani and UISOL COO Mark Triplett, will be held on Sept. 15 to provide background and address the implementation of utility Business Process Management (BPM) to effectively manage end-to-end business processes and improve performance and compliance.
