Sin Ming Loo's education and research interests are in the areas of cyber-physical systems and cyber education. He is responsible for Hartman Systems Integration Laboratory and Cyber Lab for Industrial Control Systems. He also holds a joint appointment with Idaho National Lab. In 2003, he joined the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department (ECE) at the Boise State University as assistant professor. He has been a full-time professor since 2012. Sin Ming Loo is a member of IEEE, IEEE Computer Society, Information Systems Security Association International (ISSA), and Tau Beta Pi. His amateur radio call sign is KI4AKS.
