Michael B. Marz is a principal transmission planning engineer at the American Transmission Co. Prior to joining ATC in May 2001, he spent 12 years with Cooper Power Systems’ systems engineering group and five years with Minnesota Power’s system control and performance group. He holds a BSEE degree from the University of Notre Dame, an MSEE degree from Purdue University and an MBA degree from the University of Minnesota. He is a senior member of IEEE and a professional engineer in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
